In depth

Verdict

One More Stroke has had wind surgery and joined the McCain yard since finding only one too good in a couple of points at the start of the year. Getagin would have placed between the flags at Quakerstown in April had he not fallen at the last but Walkingoneggshells, a winning pointer, was well beaten on his debut under Rules at Hereford. YAKALEO cost €65,000 and his yard won this with a newcomer in 2020 so the Buck’s Boum gelding gets the nod, though the filly Callan Queen is getting plenty of weight if Alan Doyle’s claim is taken into account.
