In depth

Verdict

Weather Front may need this and Ardera Cross was pulled up back over hurdles at Ayr. Kajaki was no match for the odds-on Pagero at Doncaster last month but will strip fitter here and Seaborough finally got his head in front last time at Sedgefield. Goldencard has been chasing since scoring over course and distance in November but returns to hurdling 9lb higher. THE MOUSE DOCTOR (NAP) won at Dundalk last month and then ran well in a big field at Leopardstown back over timber. He’s clearly talented and his shrewd trainer may have highlighted a good opportunity here. Mister Manduro could also be interesting making his handicap debut over hurdles with Danny McMenamin good value for his claim.
