Riponian, who won this last year, scored again at Hamilton last month but reverted to type on a return visit a couple of weeks ago. State Residence went up 6lb for scoring at Redcar and has been unable to cope while Champion Harbour hasn't built on his only victory on Tapeta at Newcastle. WILLBEME hasn't won for over three years but has generally raced in better company. She's been dropped enough in the ratings to get into this very lowly grade and can take advantage. Jebel Tara will be having his 100th start and has won 11 times so probably isn't finished just yet from his very lowly mark.
