The official ratings suggest this is a match between Black Treacle, who won a Beverley claimer in July and scored when dropped into this company at Ripon last month, and PRINCESS TAMAY, and it's the latter who gets the nod. Mark Johnston's filly has been involved in much better class events than this, including a valuable sales race at the Curragh last time, and will appreciate this much easier grade though has shown signs of temperament. Angel Rosa hasn't done badly in nurseries after making a winning debut at Hamilton and looks best of the remainder.
