Boquilobo is likely to be a warm order to see off Remember Ramon and Merchant Bankes. Mark Johnston's gelding looked as if he needed a step up in trip when finishing behind stablemate, Three Thieves at Musselburgh last year, and that form is much better than anything else on offer. Remember Ramon should be much better suited to this assignment than the six furlongs he was initially campaigned over. He ran well in a Lingfield race over 1m2f (the second has won impressively since) and can severely test the favourite if there are any chinks in the armour. Merchant Bankes is fully exposed and does not look an obvious stayer. Accordello was not given a hard time behind Neptune Collonges in a three mile hurdle race at Haydock Park, and it would be no surprise were there any each-way money on this occasion. Cool Ebony has good juvenile ratings although there has been a long absence. The remainder appear to be here for the Sunday appearance monies. Boquilobo looks a likely option on the formbook although he is sure to be priced accordingly.
