      Verdict

      Lynwood Gold has been highly tried this season but still looks a few pounds too high, though is preferred to stablemate Lucky Deal. ARTARMON (NAP) possibly found 2m a shade too far here last month. Either side of that, he won over this trip at Sandown and Chelmsford and shouldn’t be thwarted by a further 4lb rise with Clifford Lee’s allowance in his favour. Bill Cody has been successful twice at Redcar since stepping up in trip but is still at the right end of the handicap while Amazing Michele is back on a winning mark. Good Boy Alfie won over 1m1f at Hamilton in July but a run over hurdles recently gave no clue as to whether he stays this far.
