PROUD GAMBLE has won twice around here, including last month where he had Mollies Gent close up in third. He performed with credit in a better class race last time so can confirm the form with the latter and take this. Chanceofa Lifetime last won in April from a 2lb higher mark and has been dropped just enough to get into this, though he hasn't been running well. Broome Lane is 13lb higher than when scoring at Chepstow in April while Donapollo is held by the selection on their run at Market Rasen in August. It's over two years since Shine A Diamond last won a race but he's now on his lowest-ever mark so is no forlorn hope.
