Nicky Richards looks to hold the key to this contest, running both Middleton Dene and Cashback Rose, jockey bookings suggest Cashback Rose is the better fancied and we will side with this one, Gold Thread looks the best of the remainder. Cashback Rose made a very favourable impression when comfortably landing an Irish bumper back in June. She had shown ability in points prior to that succes and no doubt she will have been well schooled for her hurdles debut. Stable companion Middleton Dene made a very pleasing hurdles debut behind Crocodile Dundee at Kelso and should come on for the run. Meanwhile Gold Thread hasn't really taken to hurdling as yet, but this impressive bumper winner is from a top yard and it would be no surprise if he did get the hang of things. The Gleaner and Pinch Me Silver have both displayed a semblance of ability and are worth a mention, but this could be a one-two for Richards and Cashback Rose is taken to come home first.
