The veteran LA BACOUETTEUSE gained his 10th victory on his 54th start on the Flat over this track and trip a couple of weeks ago. He's up 4lb but has won from similar marks in the past and a double looks on the cards. Trafalgar Rock didn't run well at Chelmsford last time but had earlier won a better handicap than this at Hamilton, though that was his only victory to date. Aleksandar and Jan Smuts fought out a finish over a shorter trip here in August and there shouldn't be much between them again but Silver Shuffle has been looking a few pounds high since his victory at Catterick in August.
