Markadam's victory at Carlisle was a bit of a surprise and he may struggle to defy a penalty in this. Avenging Ace has been a big disappointment so far over fences but is well enough treated if he gets his act together while Civil Unrest clearly didn't stay a much longer trip at Doncaster last time and was pulled up. BRIDLINGTONBYGONES failed to win in 14 attempts over hurdles but may have some mileage over fences judged on his debut third over an inadequate trip at Catterick. Normal progress should see Karen McLintock's charge in the firing-line here as the enigmatic The Hollinwell has more bad days than good nowadays and Wild Geese may need more time. Neither Definite Appeal nor Local Present have shown much lately.
