    In depth

    Formwatch

Haymaker (IRE) Fair sort but absent for a long time and more than likely to benefit from the outing.

Mytton's Again In good form at present and is sure to give another sound performance; must be respected.

Thihn (IRE) Versatile performer who comes into the race in good heart and has the services of a top apprentice to help him; sound chance.

Secret Conquest Poor form last term and worth watching until showing a bit of the old sparkle.

Granite City Won here over 7f in the summer but makes little appeal on his seasonal bow.

Quazar (IRE) Goes on virtually any ground other than heavy and looks the sort to find a few races this term; stable has been in great form through the winter and he is well worth noting in betting exchanges.

Mamma's Boy Course specialist who must always be respected when he lines up here and races off a fair mark today.

Ace of Trumps Consistent sort who has won here in the past but might be better suited by further.

Paid Up Has had his training problems and doesn't appeal at the moment.

High Sun Generally moderate form last season but starts the campaign off a good mark and should find a race although I doubt it will be today.

Lincoln Dean Runs off his lowest ever rating today and if running to within a stone of his best form would be a handicap snip; look for any market interest.

Saffron Capable if in the mood and must have an outside chance with such a light weight.

Philagain Modest sort beaten in selling company and unlikely to make a big impression today.
