Verdict

Fisher returns to action after over a year off and as been transferred from Gordon Elliott to John Quinn. He's still only a five-year-old and looked a very smart prospect as a juvenile so is one to keep an eye on despite a big weight. His stable is also represented by FORCED FAMILY FUN, a four-year-old who beat older horses in good style at Doncaster where he gave notice that there was more in the locker - he can complete the double. Pas Trop Tard went up 13lb after an impressive victory at Ayr a year ago and has struggled at the weights since, though he ran very well in a better race here 10 days ago. The four-year-old Town Mouse has only had six races over timber and won two of them. He makes his handicap debut and Trevor Whelan's claim is a bonus. Both of Figaro's Flat victories have come on fast ground but he's gone well in softer conditions in his last two starts over timber. Sir Pit finished a close fifth behind Zarkandar in the 2011 Triumph Hurdle but has only had three subsequent runs and come nowhere near that level of form.
