In depth

Verdict

Patontheback is best on the all-weather and won nicely at Newcastle last week. Nefyn Dawn ran well for third at Beverley while The Gay Blade picked up a classified race at the track a week ago. MONHAMMER returned to winning ways over course and distance last month and having won this contest last year and Linda Perratt’s charge looks to have every chance of going in again.
