Verdict
A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Yankee Holiday, Barracat and Scotmail Lad and the vote is given to Yankee Holiday. The selection was a fair third behind Mystic Glen last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he is taken to score. Barracat rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Three Mirrors but this looks tougher and he may struggle under his penalty. Scotmail Lad was a fair third behind Silver Dagger last time and is another with place claims but he is hard to win with. Gunshon Height was a fair second behind Mystic Glen last time and he has place prospects but consistency is not his strong point. Tagar is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Yankee Holiday.
