Verdict

Cutting Comments has shown a decent level of form in maidens, latterly when chasing home Keeptheboatafloat at Ripon, and the Michael Dods-trained colt is taken to make a winning debut to his nursery career with the main dangers rated as Just The Lady and Wigan Pier. The last mentioned ran better at Leicester last time having only beaten three runners home in her two previous starts so she looks to be going the right way. Mick Easterby's Kings House has had more chances than most of these and the handicapper has more form to work on with so he looks a shade high in the weights. Neither Adozen Dreams nor Dispol Grand make any real appeal and of more interest may be Just The Lady, who comes into this having won each of her last two starts in selling and claiming company. She has to be respected but Cutting Comments has plenty going for him and he is preferred.
