Verdict
Celtic Legend, Prince of Slane and Helvetius are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the vote is given to the first mentioned. Celtic Legend put up a cracking effort on Monday in a better race than this when third behind the useful Schuh Shine. The ground was very testing that day and as he has conditions more to suit here he should take the world of beating. Prince of Slane did nothing wrong when narrowly beaten last time over this course and distance by Place Above. That was a really good effort and if he can run up to that level again he will not be far away at the finish. Helvetius ran well behind our selection last time, but that was over 2m4f and this longer trip will probably push his stamina to the limit so we are happy to oppose him. Sendonthecheque is in fair form and is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Celtic Legend.
