Verdict

Sir Chauvelin isn’t getting any younger and Glasses Up is an Ayr specialist, though did split Dark Jedi and Happy at that track in June with RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE (NAP) fourth. Iain Jardine’s grey travelled best for a long way in that contest and looks the pick of the weights today with the extra furlong definitely in his favour. New stablemate Excelcius hasn’t run since winning a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse in October and is out of the handicap while Haizoom steps up in class.
