      Verdict

      A tight handicap but Forever A Lady should make a bold bid to follow up her Ayr victory as the runner-up has franked the form since. Symposium has travelled up from Newmarket but has looked in the handicapper's grip this year. Popsies Joy could also do with some help from the assessor while Lucky Violet has been struggling to get her head in front in lesser contests. Dark Crystal's bubble was burst last time at Carlisle but Mustique might appreciate this drop in grade, though will have her stamina to prove. Chester form can be misleading but DARK INTENTION had been running well prior to winning a maiden on the Roodee and will have had her confidence boosted.
