Verdict

Several are looking to put below par efforts behind them including The Bosses Oscar, who also returns from a lay-off, while stablemate Jaycean was beaten when falling at Leopardstown. Compatriot Bardenstown Lad won on the Saturday card here last year but has struggled since while Shearer hasn’t figured since winning at Cheltenham in October. WAKOOL is 9lb higher than when runner-up in this last season but has won since and may go one better this time after last month’s second at Ayr. Hurricane Harvey bids for a hat-trick with a chance while both Coolbane Boy and Brandy Mcqueen won lower grade races over track and trip last time.
