    Verdict

Gudasmum gets the confident vote to win this hunter chase with Nisbet and Mydante rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second in a point-to-point behind Web Master last time. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only put in a clear round to score. Nisbet rates the main danger on his best form, but he is best when allowed an easy lead and that does not look likely here. Mydante is another that could go well as he will like the ground but he is normally seen to better effect when more emphasis is placed on stamina. Jupiter's Fancy is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Gudasmum.
