    Verdict

Ballythomas landed a maiden at Wetherby in April but has been well beaten in two subsequent handicaps. Aiaam Al Namoos, who had decent form in bumpers, has shown potential in three starts over timber and makes his handicap debut on a fair mark. Unex Canaletto created a shock when landing a Kelso handicap in May and is now only 2lb higher after a couple of moderate runs in better company. Quest Magic ran well when runner-up at Kelso but poorly a few weeks later at Sedgefield where she was never travelling well. VISION DE LA VIE (NAP) hadn't shown much before tackling this trip for the first time here last month where she just failed to hold the late burst of Snapping Turtle. The winner has run well in a better race subsequently so the form looks strong enough for this and Richard Johnson is a very positive booking.
