      Verdict

      Maggie Pink needed the run on her reappearance last season and has had an even longer break this time. Russian Punch won a Listed contest last October and has been competing at a higher level than this though she finished last in a Newmarket handicap last time. AZAGAL has been running in tough handicaps since scoring at Nottingham in April. She'll appreciate the drop in grade and has Rachel Richardson's claim to aid her cause so gets the nod. Pretty Bubbles doesn't look particularly well handicapped as she's 7lb higher than when landing a lower-grade handicap at Newbury in July but Invoke has won three races since June and though this will be her first start at this level she deserves the step-up after an easy victory here last month.
