Verdict

John Kirkup has been beaten off similar marks in his last half-dozen starts and will likely find at least one too good again as he prefers an easier surface. FORESEEABLE FUTURE’s recent win at Thirsk was on soft going but he has plenty of form on quicker ground and can give the weight away to penalised Ayr winner Borough. Modular Magic still appears out of sorts so Hot Scoop may be best of the rest.
