Sammy B was almost four lengths behind runner-up Black Ink on debut over course and distance in November but the latter had had the benefit of a previous run that day and they not be much between them this time. General Mahler and Fenlon's Hill have shown ability in point-to-points but SAM FAIRYANN has the pedigree which suggests he should thrive in this sphere. He's a half-brother to a hurdles winner and a bumper winner and the booking of Brian Hughes on debut is a positive.
