Kakamora completed a double over timber in the spring and will have needed last month's run over fences at Wincanton. O Connell Street scored twice for the Gordon Elliott operation and his latest close third behind Lord Lariat at Fairyhouse was boosted by the winner on Friday. Mackenberg has been racing in better company since scoring at Kempton in April and makes his chasing debut though it's difficult to get away from BROADWAY JOE. He's gone through the ranks and completed his hat-trick in impressive fashion here last month though a 10lb rise makes things more difficult.
