Sleep in First only found one too good back over hurdles at Sedgefield in November. Despite a 4lb rise, he’s still better treated than over fences at present and shouldn’t be far away again. NENDRUM is 0-10 but the penny finally appeared to drop here a couple of weeks ago when he kept on for pressure having led until the second-last. The runner-up franked the form at Catterick on New Year’s Day so Sandy Thomson’s charge gets another chance. Mitcd can be inconsistent but ran a decent race on the all-weather last month having led over the last when third at Sedgefield in November. Hey Bob finally won a race at Southwell while Rhythm Of Sound is on a roll, though both step up in grade for this.
