BRACING has a good record around here and is the only course and distance winner in this so deserves respect on that fact alone. He made late headway last time at Newcastle and regular rider Kit Alexander takes off 7lb again so he gets the nod ahead of stablemate Andhaar and Market Rasen winner Shotofwine. The latter has gone up 7lb, though the second at the Lincolnshire track did win over fences at Wetherby next time. Cruachan has the past form to figure but Landmarque blotted his copybook last time at Hexham when pulled up.
