Verdict
MASTER BOND is returned to the fray quickly after a comfortable success at Newcastle earlier this week and looks the one to beat now having come through a somewhat fallow period. Josh Doyle's claim offsets most of a penalty for that success and he could prove an interesting proposition for a while having descended to an attractive mark for David O'Meara to exploit. The drop back to 5f should not be an issue as he ran very well over the trip on his penultimate start when a close second to Oriental Relation at Nottingham. Showdaisy is sufficiently lightly-raced for improvement to be anticipated but was less effective the last day off a career-high mark. She remains of interest but the likes of Royal Brave and Henley could prove more troublesome. Both are more exposed but continue to contend well in decent handicap sprints at this level and look sure to be competitive.
