In depth

Verdict

The Dellercheckout is 5-6 between the flags and has managed to win twice over regulation fences, though he ran poorly in a Ludlow hunter-chase last month. RIO DES ECHANAULT won a Kelso hunters’ race last April and has returned to action with two victories between the flags at Friars Haugh. He’s in such good form that he can go in again as Ferocious was beaten a long way into second at Kelso and Ravished looked to be feeling his age around this time a year ago, though he has performed at a higher level.
