In depth

Verdict

Bali Royal has been in tremendous heart and should go well despite a 5lb rise for a narrow Haydock success last week while Boanerges looked unlucky not to cvomplete a hat-trick at York last time after previous wins at Kempton and Thirsk. Elvington Boy is only 3lb higher than when making all at York and merits respect while the fairly-treated Salviati will be sharper for a recent return.
