In depth

Verdict

A few of these have something to prove in handicaps. Gingili lost his unbeaten record over timber when making his handicap debut here last month and both Where's Tiger and Bright Prospect fared no better last time having won novice events earlier. Kings Folly has been thereabouts in maiden hurdles but Teo Vivo drops in class and won at Kelso the last time he raced in this grade. Claude Carter could also figure after going very close at Catterick but AWAY FOR SLATES gets the nod on his recent fourth in a handicap at Sedgefield with Ryan Day taking 7lb off his back for this.
