        Verdict

        Several of these ran in a race over the course and distance three weeks ago won by Good Fortune. Woven came from a long way back to finish runner-up, Trolius had every chance in third, Irish Trilogy was a couple of lengths behind in fourth, Shining Armor led for a long way until fading in the final furlong and Prince Elzaam came from out of the clouds to snatch sixth. Sporting Chance, who is easily the top-rated here and started favourite, went well until the straight when he weakened quickly. The filly NASHIRAH, a winner at Yarmouth in October, finished runner-up in the 1000 Guineas Trial on Dirt and the winner goes in the previous race. She should be more at home back on Turf and her allowance can see her home.
