        Verdict

        Muhtaram ended a long losing run when scoring over track and trip a fortnight ago. He makes less appeal back up in the weights today and both placed horses, Moosir and Bannock, may well reverse running. Baroot signed-off with an easy win here back in March but Mike De Kock’s charge has been upped 9lb for that success while Active Spirit landed a double here earlier this year off a 7lb lower mark. NORTH AMERICA is another having to contend with a hike in the weights after dotting-up by eight lengths here last month. But he had a subsequent winner back in third so the form looks solid enough and Satish Seemar’s charge can go in again.
