Salutos Amigos has a fine record on Dirt in the USA though he's yet to win above Grade 3 company and this look as strong as in previous years. Bob Baffert returns to Meydan with Secret Circle, another with an excellent record on this surface. His overall form is very strong as he's a regular at the highest level though he was almost two lengths behind RICH TAPESTRY in the Santa Anita Sprint Championship in October before just touched off in the Breeders' Cup Sprint there the following month when Olivier Doleuze's mount broke a blood vessel and finished last.
