Rochdale beat Kal Barg by just under two lengths in this a year ago and has returned to action in superb fashion, comfortably beating Lion Sands over the C&D at the opening meeting. Dr Faustus, who was well beaten in the latter race despite starting favourite, was never put into contention and is very much better than that. AHLAAIN ran in very strong company earlier this year on the track finishing runner-up to the useful Reem in a Listed contest on Tapeta. He's performed with credit in Group 3 and top handicap company in the UK this summer and this looks a good opportunity. Royaaty was narrowly beaten by Rochdale at Jebel Ali in January and is one to note on his comeback and though the classy Antinori is likely to need this after a long absence he's one to keep an eye on for the future.
