        Verdict

        Eight of this field are course and distance winners though not Home Brew, who landed a Listed contest at Monmouth Park in June last year and is top-rated. Al Nefud won his first two races here then finished second behind the classy Hot Rod Charlie in a Group 2 before finishing lame in the 2022 Godolphin Mile. ATLETICO EL CULANO did not win in his first season here but ended the campaign with an excellent third in this year‘s Godolphin Mile when Everfast was fifth and Desert Wisdom and Golden Goal were well beaten. Secret Ambition won the Godolphin Mile in 2021 but never really replicated that form while the three-year-old filly Mimi Kakushi, last year‘s UAE 1000 Guineas and Oaks winner, takes on older horses for the first time.
