In depth

Verdict

The trial for this resulted in an all-the-way success for Factory Time with Kenny Powers and Fiscal on his heels and several others in a bunch just behind. The placed horses have a fair chance of reversing the form while the Acomb Stakes winner Entifaadha is certain to attract strong support despite this being his first start since finishing fifth in the Tattersalls Millions at Newmarket in October where he started favourite. It's difficult to know what to make of the prolific Spanish-based Matulasen and also the Singapore entry CASH LUCK, but several of the latter's compatriots have been successful at the Carnival and he's taken to continue the trend.
