        Verdict

        This is a really tough handicap but Doug O'Neill's PARSIMONY may well prove a cut above these. He chased home Bob Baffert's triple Grade 1 winner Game Winner in the Los Alamitos Derby in July and his subsequent form has been over shorter. Grand Argentier is in top form having battled to a short-head victory over Above Normal in a strong handicap three weeks ago when Montsarrat was the same distance away and Dubai Icon very close behind. The latter never saw daylight until the final furlong and can take his revenge. Simon Crisford's Franz Kafka made all for a comprehensive victory earlier this month but this is much tougher and he's 7lb higher. George Villiers always does his best but has never won over a trip this far.
