          In depth

          Verdict

          BAROOT is a smart miler on his day and though generally needing his first run of the season doesn't have a great deal to do despite a big weight and can make a successful reappearance. Secret Ambition looks a threat though all of his runs in the UAE have been on Dirt and he's not as effective on Turf. Estikmaal is just finding his feet after transferring from France and Doug Watson may have a better chance with Resonant, who was clearly below par at Jebel Ali after two very good runs there earlier. Night Circus had shown some ability for Godolphin in the UK and though not showing much on his first start for new connections will have come on plenty for the run and could go well at a nice price.
