        Verdict

        Blue Sovereign arrives on the back of a victory at Jebel Ali last week but hasn't had much luck on this track. He finished eight lengths behind Gundogdu here in February though potential supporters would need to forgive the latter a poor comeback last month when a distance behind WELSH LORD (NAP). The winner has been raised 5lb but that doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. The runner-up that day, Meqdam, was staying on at the finish and the extra furlong can see him get closer and Kanood created a shock when scoring easily a couple of weeks ago - there didn't appear to be a fluke to the success. He should make a bold bid while Tradesman, a winner here in February, will have come on for last month's run when never in contention. Sa'ada has been raised 10lb for a very easy victory at Jebel Ali.
