        Verdict

        Cinderkamp and Fityaan finished 1-2 at Abu Dhabi last month but neither has much form on this surface. Firestreak had been in good form before scoring on turf here early last month and didn't appreciate being stepped up to a mile last time. Spirit Of Sharjah has run three poor races on this surface recently against one decent effort on turf where he's better handicapped. LES TROYENS, twice a winner in France including on Fibresand at Deauville, had a recent run behind Firestreak which should have put him spot-on for this and he's given the vote. Hajoum won over 6f here on New Year's Eve and though well beaten subsequently this represents a big drop in class. Brave Echo has shown nothing in two starts here but in much better company and shouldn't be dismissed.
