      In depth

      Verdict

Peri Lina has won eight times in Turkey including at local Group 1 level though what she has beaten is another matter. Godolphin have three entries. Poetic Charm looks the owner's pick on her victory at Longchamp in September though she was well beaten when sent to Keeneland for a Group 3 the following month. She makes her debut here as does Asoof, three times a handicap winner in the UK last summer. Victory Wave won four races last year including Class 2 handicaps at Newmarket and Chelmsford and has the advantage of a recent run on the track when leading for a long way over 7f. Mia Tesoro won a Listed race at Nottingham in June but the vote goes to FURIA CRUZADA, beaten a short-head by Promising Run in the Group 2 Balanchine last February and well up to this grade at her best. Erwan Charpy's mare won a Group 2 on her first start here two years ago and though she hasn't won subsequently she's competed at the highest level and dropping back in trip won't be a problem.
