The runner-up has to be respected over the shorter trip while Sand Stamp, a winner at the Carnival a year ago, has been close-up in all of his last four starts on Tapeta and may benefit from the change of surface. Muraweg was taking on much more than he could handle when a long way behind Barbecue Eddie last time but his earlier effort behind the in-form Ganas puts him right in the picture.
