Mutahaddith was in excellent form over the track and trip early last year, scoring twice. He looked on the way back over the minimum at Jebel Ali last week and has to be respected. Taayel, a dual winner for John Gosden, competed at a much higher level than this in his two starts here last spring and also performed with credit in that same Jebel Ali race last time. Mathematics went up 7lb for an easy victory over 7f here then made all over the track and trip but now has to contend with a similar rise. The runner-up, in that latter event, SHOREDITCH, who was having only his second start, can reverse the form and take this. Raven's Corner looked a smart prospect when making all over 7f at Doncaster in July when trained by John Gosden. He looks a useful acquisition for new connections though might just need this and another furlong wouldn't go amiss.
