        Verdict

        This looks another for the Doug Watson/Pat Dobbs partnership via CHARLIE CROKER, a winner in the UK for Kevin Ryan and successful over 6f here last month. He couldn't handle Championship when stepped up an extra furlong last time and has never raced over the trip but he looks well handicapped and can get back on the winning trail. The trainer has three other entries in the race with Paul Hanagan's mount Mutasayyid, a winner for Richard Hannon, possibly the best of them. Need To Know hasn't won since 2014 but has run very well in his last two starts in better handicaps than this and he'll be difficult to keep out of the frame. Vale Do Sol won twice for Ger Lyons in Ireland and made an encouraging debut for new connections here a fortnight ago.
