Alla Mahlak gained his first-ever victory at Jebel Ali last week and should be thereabouts again while Doug Watson has a strong hand with three entries. RAYIG has been running well all winter and is only 2lb higher than his victory at Jebel Ali in November so could be good enough. Statehood, a winner for Godolphin in 2017, hasn't shown enough to merit consideration but Guernsey could go well after a couple of very good efforts over 6f and 7f, though he's unproven over this trip. Mazeed would have a chance at his best but has been running poorly, a remark that also applies to Untold Secret though the latter showed a bit more dash last time.
