        Verdict

        Monoski had been going well without quite getting there until scoring with a bit in hand over the track and trip. He's up 7lb but looks a threat to ALKAAMEL, who has been in good form since returning to action. The latter has twice finished close behind Hypothetical on the track, the latest in better company, and Jim Crowley can steer him home. Trolius won his first three starts in the UK in 2018, all on Tapeta. He'd been in good form before striking at Abu Dhabi a year ago and reappeared with a very encouraging run here in January. Desert Peace, twice a winner at Kempton, started favourite on his reappearance here last month but never got into the action. He'll be better for the run and can get involved while Verboten and Galvanize are not out of this representing Doug Watson with preference just for the former.
