Ali Rashid Al Raihe, the top trainer at Jebel Ali, got off to a good start on Friday with a double and ZAIN SHAMARDAL finished runner-up behind Five Cents over a trip too short. The former Brian Meehan-trained winner was making his UAE debut and having his first start since June and with that run under his belt can go one better and looks destined for higher class handicaps. Stablemate Trust N Dunstan has yet to win a race despite several fair attempts while Doug Watson's veteran Royal Prince is still looking a few pounds high and has never scored on the all-weather. El Mansour won a Kempton maiden for Clive Cox in June and is a progressive type who can do well in Dubai but Shemoli ran poorly on his only start on the track in January.
