AL TARIQ is a dual Grade 3 winner over the track and trip and made a successful reappearance in the Dubawi Stakes last season so the lack of a run shouldn't be a problem even though he has a small penalty to carry. Pat Dobbs is on board stablemate Canvassed, a Grade 3 winner here last year but behind the selection in January as was runner-up Freedom Fighter, who was beaten two lengths. Mouheeb has only had two starts at this trip and won both though takes a slight step up in class but Mutaraffa made a winning reappearance at this level in January. Raaeb impressed on his return to action a month ago but Tuz won the Listed Dubai Creek Mile a year ago and may find this on the short side. Upper Class made all for an easy victory last month but takes a big leap in grade.
