Jamie Osborne had a fantastic success with Toast Of New York at last year's Carnival and will be hoping his recent acquisition, Another Party, can emulate him. A useful performer at Grade level in France, he doesn't look badly treated on a mark of 106 and will know what's required. TAWHID is also well up to this level having had smart form for Godolphin in the UK and, though he didn't manage to win in a light campaign last year, his overall form gives him a decent chance of making a successful start here. Godolphin also run the lightly-raced Music Theory, who is progressing and could be very well treated, and the tough handicapper Safety Check, whom Cam Hardie rode to victory at Ascot in September. Doug Watson will have the dual Longchamp winner Jally geared up on his first start for the yard while Merhee ran well on his reappearance here last year. Short Squeeze has done very well for Hugo Palmer and Pat Smullen was on board when he won a very tough handicap at York in August.
